The culminating experience for the Retreat was to create a postcard that captured an exciting or motivating moment along the Retreat journey. Staff were asked to reflect on what they learned and experienced during the Retreat and identify an area of interest, a goal, or a driving purpose that they’d like to work toward and then create a visual representation of this as a postcard.
“I liked the symbolism of each image clearly being a heart – but yet each heart was different and unique – much like the members of this team – we are all different but we all come together to work toward the same goals – making us all alike. I liked the symbolism of what it showed as my favorite part of the retreat was Erica’s poll everywhere exercise – we were all participating (same) – we all read the same questions – but yet there were quite a few times in that exercise where there were 26 different answers.”
